Welcome to our FAQ section, where we provide answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about the Richard Burton 10k.

Where can I park?There is ample parking in and around the village of Cwmafan; including signed, designated parking areas. ​ 1. Garage on London Row near The Brit Pub, will be available until 10:00 after which access will be restricted. SA12 9BG ​ 2. Car park behind Pizza Gatti , Ty'r-Owen Row. SA12 9BG ​ 3. Car park opposite the Co-op in Waun Wen. SA12 9TB ​ 4. Car park at Ynys Park, Cwmavon Rd, Cwmafan, Port Talbot, SA12 8RB (Allow 10 to 15 Mins. to walk to the registration area from here) ​ Otherwise please park respectfully in and around Cwmavon.

What facilities are available on the day?Toilets There will be toilets available in Cwmafan Rugby Club. Portable Toilets will also be available opposite the Cwmafan Rugby Club and outside the library. Disabled toilets will be available at the Cwmafan Community Centre. There are also toilets in the changing rooms in Parc Siencyn Powell (the park on the main road opposite the Rugby Club). The Welfare /Soccer Club and Waun Club will also be open. ​ Showers/changing Showers and changing rooms are available in the Parc Siencyn Powell (the park on the main road opposite the Rugby Club) Also opposite the main entrance to the community centre at the back of the rugby club. LADIES ONLY SHOWERS will be available in the old squash club next to the soccer club, Teapot bistro is located here. ​ Refreshments There will be refreshments and a cake sale available in the Community Centre. Locally made fudge will also be available for purchase ​ The library will be offering tea/coffee and light snacks courteous of McMillan nurses with monies raised going to their worthy charity. ​ Teapot bistro situated next to the welfare /soccer club will also be offering refreshments (ladies some lovely cakes will await you post race) located near where the ladies showers are available. ​ Cwmafan Rugby Club will also be serving hot and cold snacks, drinks, sweets and the bar will be open. Massage Station Available from 9am on the stage of the Community Centre. ​ Bag Storage Available at the library.

Can I defer my entry to next year?Deferring entries is no longer an option. If requested by email, we may consider runner details to be changed to an alternative person running in your place. Where this is agreed to, we will assist with the changes but this must be done before race packs are prepared and posted.
