2021

2021 saw the return to a physical rather than virtual version of the 39th edition of the Tata Steel Richard Burton 10k and Runtech Kevin Webber Mini Miler. Taking place during an easing of the Covid-19 social distancing requirements, the normal socially-focused activities were legally allowed but with additional controls. Despite these additional challenges, the vast majority of the RB10k traditions were once again brought back and enjoyed by the 1850 RB10k runners plus the 255 Mini Milers.

The event details for the 10k can be found here and the Mini Miler here. The MiniMiler is not a timed event so there is no leader board for this but the 10k results can be found here.

Here is a link to a short video, on our FaceBook group, showing the start of the race. You can also find over 200 photos taken on race day if you follow this link. You may star in some of them so take a look and share with your friends.

After the runners collect their t-shirts and Richard Burton coasters, many head to the Rugby Club for refreshments and presentations. This is just the start of the day for many who continue to celebrate on into the night.

After the event, money raised is then used throughout the year to support local individuals, groups and charities in the area.
