2022

2022 saw the 40th edition of the Tata Steel Richard Burton 10k and Runtech Kevin Webber Mini Miler. Taking place for the first time since 2019 with no legal Covid-19 social distancing requirements, although the management focus on safety for the race continues at the same high standard expected of this event. The RB10k traditions were once again brought back and enjoyed by the 2430 RB10k runners plus the 370 Mini Milers.

The event details for the 10k can be found here and the Mini Miler here. The MiniMiler is not a timed event so there is no leaderboard for this but the 10k results can be found here.

Here is a link to a few photos of finishers with our Mister Beany, on our FaceBook group. You can also find over 200 photos taken on race day if you follow this link. You may star in some of them so take a look and share with your friends. The Facebook Page is packed full of photos and videos from the day such as this one.

Presentations were made in the rugby club after the race and after the runners have collected their t-shirts and Richard Burton coasters, many of them go to the Rugby Club for refreshments and presentations. This is just the start of the day for many who continue to celebrate on into the night.

After the event, money raised is then used throughout the year to support local individuals, groups and charities in the area. Cheques were handed out to some of the charities at the presentation evening in the Tata training academy on 26th Jan 2023. See some of the photos taken at the event here.
